Nick Blaney, aka Good Night Vienna, is a UK-based visual artist, designer and mural painter. His practice explores the relationship between language, the built environment, and everyday forms.

Letterforms and their abstract qualities are central to his work. Deconstructed letters are simplified into shapes, textures and fragments, stripping away their original meaning to create new visual languages.

Through colour, repetition and composition, these elements become abstract forms with their own identities. His paintings function as visual diaries, recording places visited and experienced, and observations encountered along the way.
