Station Roundabout Underpass Community Project

I was fortunate to be involved in a painting project in the sunny, seaside town of Bournemouth. 

I was given one of four entrances of a roundabout underpass to paint. The aim of the project was to use art to encourage walking, improve the visitor experience and strengthen the area’s creative reputation. 

The 'Station Roundabout Underpass Community Project' is part of a much larger vision in the Lansdowne area, which is creating new spaces for the public to enjoy.

I have to say, Bournemouth was an absolute pleasure to visit. Everyone who passed by had nothing but positivity to contribute, and embraced other artworks in the city. This made me and my craft feel very welcome.
